I'm going to rio mar tomorrow night. Besides the garlic soup, what else should I order?

hanger steak, tres leches, ceviche sampler...listen closely to their specials...they are usually very good.

Grilled piquillo peppers are really great and so is the ceviche.

Thanks guys, I've had the steak at La Boca so I'll probably skip it this time.

good move...their fish specials are always excellent...
the garlic shrimp is the only thing I have ever had that is lacking there...

I say save the hanger steak for La Boca. Cerviche is a must. I can't remember exactly what I had last time I went, but my wife had the special. It was dynamite.

This is what I had:
Pan-roasted Louisiana Black Drum
Fried eggplant, green beans, almonds, cumin & honey vinaigrette
My wife had some type of a lightly pan fried snapper I think. It had a phenomenal orange'ish glaze on it.
