If you're around the area on a Saturday, the zydeco breakfast at Cafe Des Amis in Breaux Bridge is not to be missed!

Very good food...especially the boudin stuffed beignets...live zydeco music...everyone dancing...and drinking! It's really a site.

I wonder. Last time I was in Baton Rouge, my wife and I tried to go there for brunch. I was told it would be a 45 min wait. We left. Not to sound like too much of a jackass, but there are few places in NYC that I would wait 45 mins for. I was not going to do that for a brunch joint. May have been my loss. I'll try next time.
