Doesn't exist, unless you know someone that dropped a diesel in one.

A Mitsubishi Delica is what you are seeking. Trust me, these things are all over Vancouver & can go through some shite.

Jesus. Lord. God. Christ.

For a fancy camper shell strapped to a Ford pickup.

I mean, I watched the videos all the way through. There's way too much overkill built into those things.

That's a lot more of what I'm thinking. I think the minds of the OB could get together and piece one together for $30-50k, not including the truck.

That's still OB Baller territory. But $500k is just insane.

Way more than what I want. I just want a 4x4 cargo van that I can throw a camping mattress in when I'm hunting. Those Quigley conversions are exactly what I'd want. I just wish I had the knowledge and shop to do it myself.

I thought that was high too, so I looked. I found used ones for sale for $195,000. Here's the quote off EarthRoamer's pricing sheet.

quote:

EarthRoamer Xpedition Vehicles are sold factory direct and are custom built to order. XV-LTS prices range from $438,000 – $575,000 based on options. Our lead time is typically 8-12 months out.
