I will never shoot my limit of green heads where I hunt. I pretty much don't have to decide on the wing. If it flies it dies.

I try not too, but I learned real quick last year that looking up in the flooded timber, I'm not so great at picking out the greenheads.

Who even waist there time shooting mallards in general. Some folks on here think it is easier to kill mallards than GW teal.

My daddy told me to never shoot ducks swimming on the water . . . . wait till they stop swimming first.

I would shoot a deer sleeping if I saw it.

Remember it well. We made one with a Flambeau Magnum, a remote control car, two Easton arrow shafts, and some wings fashioned out of a 5-gal bucket. It was brutal.

One comprises 23% of the fall flight the other 6%, using pre-K reasoning one would surmise as much.

breakfast is the most important meal of the morning and I take mine at the camp. And the sooner I can get to the camp, the sooner I can get some hair of the dog to knock out my hangover.

I shoot pouldeau because its fun. The flavor is just a bonus.

I normally don't shoot hens, but I broke my rule a couple times last year for the sake of getting my pup some work in.

Also made myself a rule not to shoot ducks on the water after I killed 4 teal in one shot when I had a bunch packed in on the water in front

2000?

True story, when I first moved to Houston I guided for an outfitter out of Winnie, TX for several years. This was like 98 or 99 maybe. Had 3 guys come in from Cali. They had a Lucky Duck. Never heard of the thing. It was a Flambeau full body on a pole with spinning wings. Pulled in Pintails from the stratosphere. It was amazing. We hammered them.

Fast forward to the next season. I was in Monroe for first split and I really wanted one of these bad as I was told they were going to be hitting the market that season. I went to Village Sports. I asked Dick if he had any. He said no. He passed on buying some at the Shot Show in Vegas. His exact words, they will never work. So, I got in my truck and drove to Bastrop. Jeff was working so I asked him and low and behold, there sat 2 in a corner by the decoys. I said I have to have one and how much? He said, $100. In fact, he was skeptical about them too. I said you have no clue and walked out of Simmons with the first spinner ever sold at the place. Went back second split and he had already sold like 20 and was on back order. Think they were up to $250. The rest of that story is history....

Hunted with one in '99 for the first time. It wasn't even fair.
