Engineers bitching about who had a harder path and who's smarter?

Best way to fail at extracting this truck.
I say it's doable with simple extraction technique, hard work, and the danger ranger.
Apparently we wanna fight leprechauns too.

Is it not feasible that this guy is a leprechaun? Short, gingerish neckbeard, always happy and posing in pics, F250 at 18......There has to be a pot of gold somewhere.
We may need to invoke some fark board pros to produce a rainbow going to the stuck truck pic.

Haha I just read all of it. I almost commented on my theory of why it did what it did and why things didn't work but I reserve my thoughts. lol

What we really need is the leprechaun to come in the thread talking shite.

I didn't follow this thread after the 1st page. Just saw the "shirt" thread.
What happened? The owner come forward?

We were down there staying behind where Cigar's used to be. Saw the thread and considered taking the wife's RAV4 out there to cut up in front of that menacing off-road machine.
Reminds of a guy I hunted with in MS. Bragged on his new jacked up 3500 Ram all week. We show up, he tried to make it up the hill to his camper and had to throw it in low 4 and fight to make it up. He gets out saying he don't think anyone else's vehicle could have made it up there, blah blah blah. 10 minutes later his wife pulls up in her Honda Civic and rolls on up like its no big deal. Never seen someone so deflated over a brand new truck in my life

Owner was an 18 yr old kid from Cut Off. From everything I have seen he had the truck for a week and only had liability coverage. Finally got the truck pulled out at 9:00pm Saturday after sitting in salt water for over 24 hours.
Kid looks abnormally happy in pictures with truck after it was pulled out. Possible he just didn't realize how F'ed his truck really is.

Yeah diesel's aren't made for much off-roading. Dad had a 2wd F250 diesel, a '91 model. I remember we were turning the truck around in a corn field one night after tarping the combine and a grain cart, rain was coming but still dry as a popcorn fart. He got the front axle in one middle, and the rear axle in another middle and burnt about 3K miles off the back tires trying to get it out, whilst using every cuss word imaginable, cussing the truck, the tire salesman and anyone else that came to mind. The old man would get ignert in a minute. Good times they were.

I'm going have to agree with Rando about the danger ranger haha! About 15 years ago my younger brother and I where laying fiber in southern Cali. One day we got off work early and was heading back to the motel and drove by Glamis sandunes. It literally looked like Baja out there with all the 4-wheelers, dune buggies, and trucks going crazy in the sand out there. We were both young and in awe, being from Louisiana and never seeing anything like this we didn't you should lower your tire pressure for the sand.
Well of course my brother having gotten a brand new Z71 heads straight out there and buries his truck to the frame. Our friend with 2500 cummins tried, not a inch. Several other F250's and other large trucks tried and nothing. After sitting there for a couple of hours these locals with a small Toyota pickup pull up and say sure we will get ya out for $200.
We all looked at you each at other like no fricking way, but my brother being frustrated was like sure. They pulled out a 50 foot bungie strap and got a good running start. The snatch actually made the Z a little airborn and it came right out. $200 later we def learned to lower your tire pressure if your going out on the sand. Sorry so long, just found and read the thread and wanted to share my story

Did the truck have a Salt Life sticker or has one been applied?

Damnit, I must have missed this limited edition koozie. All I got was the standard OB koozie.
Also great thread, remember it like it was yesterday.
