Panfish assassins for trout. Seriously

This. I have been tandem rigging these for many many years. Also, Fin S or baby flukes work as well. I have a little box that attaches to my belt that I keep all of my favorite colors in. Throw this when the specks are popping the top and you will wear your arms out. Nothing like having 2 4-5lb specks on the line at once.

I look at it this way. Hackberry from BR is a 2 1/2 hour ride with boat in tow.
Delacroix is about 2 15 min.

Grand isle, 2 1/2

Pointe Au Chens 2 15min.

It's all about the same if I'm not fishing the northshore of Lake P.

When the bite is on at those bridges it's very hard to justify going anywhere else to fish. It's at most an hour pulling my boat to Dockside in Slidell.

Love that golden meadow and fourchon are only 15 minute drives with boat in tow.
did anyone else waste 6 dollars on those vudu shrimp? 2 baits, 2 reds, 2 broken hooks.

New hooks are supposed to be stronger and have more weight so they will be easier to cast

22-24" reds. i went back to DOA and TKO. I can't justify the $6 or $7 a pack, whatever it is now. I also saw academy has their own kind of vudu now.

I have used them with good success on specks up to 5lbs and reds 20-22". I never broke a hook but straightened one after many fish caught. Has anyone tried the H2O's from Academy yet?
