Would love to go to Louisiana for some good eats and fishing. All of mine so far have been caught in Georgia.

About 4 lbs from a private pond. Never was much of a fresh water fisherman.

I didn't weigh it, but I estimate 5 lbs. It really wasn't that fun of a fight to tell the truth. We had been fishing lunka lures and caught a nice lil mess of fish. A few 2 pounders. The big one hit the chartreuse lunkerlure right at the boat. I had no idea how big it was. When I felt that it was hooked I lifted it over the side right away. I haven't caught many bass over 2 lbs in my lifetime really. A few 3's and two 4's.

Nothing better in fishing than bass on lunker lures.

Just 3.5 pounds in a small pond. However, the second it struck my knee hit a live cattle electric wire (didn't see it), the shock of me hooking a pretty large bass and the shock of the electric wire combined was pretty electrifying.

13.95 on Caney lake in 19 ft of water on a 1oz Jig N Pig the last day of January in 96'. That summer, caught a 10.15 on a C-rig in the same area. Back then, they would weigh and measure your fish, and provide a replica for $50. Still have em on the wall at the camp.

Caney turned to shite soon after when they got rid of the grass.

This one on Toledo last March. No idea what it weighed..no scale, and I'm not much of a fisherman to be able to estimate her.
