Mine was 12.4 pounds on a bluegill

Second would be 10.5 on a buzz bait.

Wow can't match that. Caught 2 that weighed over 9. One that was right at 8. Haven't broke 10 yet. I am proud to say that all three fish were caught on public water.

Over 10, but I released her without an official weight. She was 27 inches long and formulas I found to estimate weight by length and girth say she was a double digit fish.

Caught that big bitch on a cold rainy day in January on a pontoon boat while white perch fishing. We had minnows set out and while we were waiting for bites I was throwing a smokin' shad fluke in 18 feet of water. I throw in and let it sink a few seconds to get it down before I start working it. Without a twitch, where my line disappeared in the water a huge boil hits the surface. I knew what was up... I set the hook and barely moved the fish. The person with me asked if I was hung. One of the few bass I've caught that ever stripped any line off the reel.

Thank goodness my fishing partner had a camera and was all into taking pics at the time. They got some awesome pics of it.

Welcome aboard!

Yep. Like I said, one of the few bass I've had strip any line off the reel.

Seemed like forever, but it was probably a 2 minute fight. Then I had to lay on my belly to lip her from the high floor of the pontoon boat. Crazy day all around. It was the only bass I caught, and I threw that fluke religously the rest of the day. We did end up with 10 or 12 white perch for supper.
