5lb smallmouth

I caught a 5 lbs. smallmouth on a fly rod in an Ozark river (Jacks Fork) one time. Greatest fish catching experience of my life. Crawfish pattern fly on a 5wt rod.

Biggest largemouth bass was an 8 lbs. largemouth on a classic Rebel Deep Wee R on Sardis Lake.

6lb 6oz out of False River on a red shad IIRC. Caught a few others over 5lb but all out of small ponds. Next biggest public land bass is probably right at 4lb.

10.2 Lake Columbia, AR. Lizard.
caught another one in a pond that was over 11 but I don't count it as my pb because it was in a pond.
lost a toad at Lake Fork that looked much bigger than the 10 but we'll never know how big it was.... all I know was that it made short work of 20 lb Big game when it ran out in front of the boat... I had no chance to turn her.
