Not level? It looks like the front is sitting higher than the rear
Appears to be the douchey new trend.

Didn't change rear springs when it was lifted

Put it this way, my truck is probably only worth $10k. It's an 04 4x4 crew cab 2500 LT with 140k. If you really think it's a good idea to pay that much for something much less, more power to you. I'd only pay $3500 for it though

I'd be curious as to why the engine swap with that few miles.
Because the mileage is bullshite.
That's kinda what I was getting at. If I were, for some weird reason, interested in that truck, I'd like to hear the owner's story.

Dash only goes to 99,999.9

Yea. It's definitely got 157k on it.
My boss had a 94 that was never his daily driver and still put over 100k on it in 20 years going to his camp and back.

He left the keys in the door, just take it.

The odometer very well could've been rolled over who knows? The truck looks like it only has 57k miles though, it's spotless on the inside and out. He took care of it that's for sure. I was looking at it as just a fun little truck to keep miles off my new truck, i have a 2015 duramax. I thought it would be fun to have something like it to ride the back roads around our camp in Mississippi. I'm not going to buy it unless I think that if I decided to get rid of it that I'd be able to get my money back.

I don't think there is a sane person who would pay that much, so no, you're not gonna get your money back

It isn't like it is some sought after older truck. It is an old Ford. Even in the best shape, it has had major work done with the lift, engine swap, etc. I wouldn't pay more than $3-4k for it either. I'd want to take an extended test drive, make sure the 4WD works properly, and get a mechanic to give it a look. If it truly is in great running condition, offer him $4k in cash and if he takes it, good deal.

Where is is called a stance or a squat. New trend but I don't like it.....

Nope.
It's been lifted. IMO a lift kit is a MAJOR deduction to the value of a truck. It is an extensive modification.
A lift and boggers?
That thing has been used.

Since it is older, I'll agree with you. But I've seen plenty of newer lifted trucks with big mud tires that haven't seen anything but pavement.

I don't know about 1 million, but it's some multiple of hundred K plus 57, I'll wager on that.
And, just so our math is clear, assuming the truck sold in mid 88, right about 28 years to the day from today:
(I'm pulling my low, low average, etc. out of my arse, BTW)
Low (5k per year) - 140k
Low average (10k per year) - 280k
Average (12k to 15k per year) - 336k to 420k
High average (18k per year) - 504k
High (25k per year) - 700k
So, while 1057000 isn't more likely than the displayed 57k - actual mileage of 357k and 457k are. 157k is probably the absolute minimum and 257k or 357k are far, far more likely even, with just average use.
And I would set my offer accordingly. $3500 to $4500 is the most I would go if the truck was perfect.

Those old odo's were pretty easy to disassemble and turn back werent' they? Another trick is the speedo's in my old 91 f250 was disconnected for 2 yrs or so.

Not Boggers though. I have probably only seen 10 sets of those on a daily driver in my 32 years on this earth
Posted on 6/24/16 at 3:25 pm to Hammertime
I'm with ya. About $4k would be my max, even if it appears in great shape. It's still a 30 year old truck with no 'classic' value.
