Only got 7 Saturday(3 woodies, 2 teal and 2 spoonies) with 3 people and 5 on Sunday(mallard drake & hen, 2 woodies and a teal) with 4 people. Saturday was a learning experience, Sunday was a little slow.

ETA: This was southwest of Kaplan.

My dad flew in from Austin to go harvest with me and my uncle on Friday.

4 Lingcod
15 quality rockfish (Vermillion, Gophers, Bolinas, China, Black and Yellow)
1 Big nasty Longnose Skate
30 Dungeness

Sent dad back home with probably 20 lbs of filets and 10 lbs of lump crab meat. Mom will be quite happy with the results.

We did well in Reggio also...
18 opening day- 12 greys, 3 green wing, 2 blue wing and a mottled
2 other blinds had 2 man limits of green wings and greys
50 trout in 1 boat, 78 trout in the other.
11 on Sunday for us and 2 other limits of green wings and greys in the other blinds.
They caught another 80 trout as well.

Heard both good and bad reports coming out of the area.

Yeah same here. Lots of people were out Saturday so it made it tough. We hunted late to wait out some idiots around us.

My boat out of Bodega Bay. Huge swell. Steady 8s with the occasional 10-12 footers. But there was a long interval (15 seconds) and very little wind.

Big swells like that make you feel very, very small.
