Caught 20 specks with my dad at Last Island. Probably caught about 15 gafttops also.

There is a campground just south of the I10 launch. Not sure if they have cabins or just for rv's.

I had to work all weekend, but this is from a little tourney I fished at Toledo last weekend.

I fished Guntersville with my dad on Saturday. We caught a few bass. None of them were very big, and it was slow going. But, it was good to see my dad for father's day.
My wife and daughter got me an anchor trolley and a few other little things for my kayak for father's day. I tinkered around putting that on Sunday.

Where did you launch from PP? We seen 2 bay boats approx 15mi out when we were runnin. Looked like they were havin a tough time in those conditions. I only seen 3 boats outside of 20mi
3 limits of snaps and 2 cobia. Wife landed a 61lber. Lost 2 at the boat.

Montegut on Friday. I should have had my 5 reds but I missed/broke off 4... was very frustrating 
Friday afternoon I went catch some snapper with Conundrum, Big Hoss, and Busch. Made come ceviche Saturday

Me and redfish went to Fourchon Saturday. Took an arse whippin for 7 specks and 1 red. But the beer was cold so it was a good day. Sunday I took my pops and little brother to hopedale and managed to put together a decent box of specks but ran out of beer. The rocks was a friggin boat show. Overall a great weekend on the water.

Was a saga for me.
Winch strap broke on boat trailer on the way to grand isle, had to rig up ratchet strap on side of the road
Launch boat and wont crank
Battery was weak and went dead after trying to crank for a few minutes, had to jump off trolling motor battery
Got her running half arse made a quick run to check out and she died on me
put boat back on trailer
Luckily there is a mechanic on the island who was able to look at her
$589 later I'm back on the water
forgot about aforementioned battery being weak while fishing with wife and kid with radio on
had to disconnect trolling motor battery and swap with cranking as left jumper cables in truck
little kept us up most of saturday night as his finger was hurting
alarm went off after a couple hours sleep sunday mornging and said frick it and went back to bed
Go to pull boat out of water Sunday and she wont start
after 15 min finally got her cranked and back on trailer
We did manage a dozen nice trout Friday afternoon in and hr or so and had enough for dinner was only thing that went right.

Thats just because of the way he's holding it. If it wasn't being strong armed it wouldn't look quite as big.

Went to Toledo again Saturday. I'm on some fish, caught one on my 2nd cast. Ended up with 14 total by noon. My boss caught this 21 incher on the fly rod. I'd guess she weighed 6 lbs.

Sure are. I think its because we caught them so fast, ice was never on top of them yet. On the other hand, my foot tan has me looking a different ethnicity!!! and to think someone downvoted that picture...
