Wont catch them from home so you may as well head to island - good luck!

Planning to head to deer camp Sat am to cut grass and open it up for first time since Deer Season. Weather to dictate after that.

Ditto.

Black and Gold classic and ABC rodeo. Will be a fun weekend on that 7 mile stretch of island.

Me too. Stouts and Trouts this weekend, but the weather might have something to do with the Trouts. Either way we gonna party, gonna have live music on the beach Saturday.

You know it's been a long week already when the Weekend Plans Thread starts on a Wednesday.

Heading to Lacassine to fish for the first time, despite the weather looking less than ideal. Gonna scope it out and see what I can catch this weekend, and probably head back next weekend. Sick of fishing around here and not catching shite.

Supposed to get 2" of rain between Friday and Saturday, so likely just knocking out some projects around the house. But if the forecast changes:

Friday - Sporting Clays event for work.
Saturday - Trying my hand at trolling for slabs and walleye. Finally got the rod holder setup I need on my canoe.
Sunday - Working on a second flower bed/garden in the backyard

Lake Hefner. It's a municipal water supply lake in OKC, about 2,500 acres.
