Am I the only person who's still freshwater fishing this time of year?
Going to Chicot with the yak Saturday with a friend of mine.
Speaking of, I got intel that said to fish around The Branch and Ski Lake. Can anyone tell me exactly where these places are? All I know is they're in the north part of the lake.

I don't really know much about freshwater fishing as I mostly stick to saltwater but would love to learn. I hear Cypremore Point is good this time of year so It'll soon consume the majority of my yak trips.
Probably going to make a duck hunt or three over the weekend, would love to fish as well though if I get the chance.

Headed to Houston for the weekend with the wife and a kid or two. Hotel reservations I made for the Wisconsin game couldn't be cancelled so we just had to pick another weekend. Something came up and we had to pick yet another weekend so now we can move them again and they wouldn't change cities. Hopefully something's going on in Houston this weekend. The last thing I want to do is spend the weekend shopping at the galleria.

Made it to Delhi last night. Dad, my 2 step brothers and I are heading to Sweetwater today and fishing with Capt Jack in the morning. This will be the 1st time in 20 years all 4 of us take a trip like this together. Hopefully catch a 4 man limit of trout, redfish and black drum and head home.
