The makings of a good tool bag to keep in the truck

i don't know what the hell i'll need tools for but i'm tired of randomly needing shite sometimes and not having anything.
So putting together a little tool bag, its a smallish bag on the floor, so far i've got:
Hammer
tape measurer
wire cutter tool w/ electrical tape
set of screw drivers
sets of metric and sae sockets w/ wrench
set of 3 vice grips
set of 3 crescent wrenches
2 set of allen wrench sets (think one is metric and sae or some shite)
razor blade box cutter
hmmm... trying to think what else i may have... or am missing...
eta: already did order a 30ft tow strap, already keep a few 20 ft rachet straps in truck.
things will add: Led flashlight, duct tape, zip ties

I did already keep a rechargeable light in my truck but i think it was giving me trouble. Would be wise to keep a solid smaller led light in bag.
duct tape... fix blowout tires and shite.
ETA: also, did order a nice 30 ft tow strap to stow away in truck.
Ya'll seen the instaboost thing at lowes... i don't know what i'd need it for but seems great to have.

You are going to need a trailer by the time OBers get done with this thread.
IMO, vice grips and crescent wrenches overlap one another. 3 of each is just killing space.
Zip ties are a must

You can get a little screw driver set and replace the set of screw drivers and allen wrench set. It will save you a bunch of space in the bag

I have a basic socket set, a set of Channel Locks, a 10" Crescent wrench, a tire plug kit, good 12V air compressor, a DeWalt t-handle screwdriver set, WD40, a couple of LED lights. Pretty much covers 90% of anything I might have to pull over for.

Not entirely relevant but some may find use for this to stow your tow straps or chain. Take an old pair of blue jeans (perhaps ones with too many holes in the front or backside to wear) and cut the lower pants leg off a bit above the knee. Turn inside out and then sew a seam about 2 inches from cut end and make sure you go over it several times or even take it somewhere to get this done. Then turn it outside in and you have a bag. Pretty durable and then you wont have a rusty chain or dirty tow straps getting tangled everywhere. Boot cut jeans work better than straight leg jeans as you have a bit more room.

old pair of blue jeans
In my tool box:
-jumper cables
-wd40
-zip ties
-utility knife
-rig ax(covers ax & hammer)
-channel lock pliers
-machete
-tow straps
-ratchet straps
-duct tape
-wellington boots
-rubber boots
-hard hat
-surveyor tape
-60D nails
-PK nails
-pin flags
-bottle of GoJo Orange Pumice
ETA: Just noticed "tool bag." My tool box is a small(size of a 65-75q cooler), aluminum, low profile box(sits a few inches under bed rails) that I lock to my bed for easy removal if I need room.

Not really a tool bag item, but a floor jack and 4 way will save you a lot of time.
JB weld, zip ties, and some 550 cord are always solid items to keep though.

I'll add Tools to change a u-joint, jic. 3lb hammer, large chisel, wrenchs to remove drive shaft, and big c-clamp. A long pull handle from harbor freight and applicable socket for changing a tire, and an AR-15 with several full mags, again jic.
