I'll likely buy a $600 or under 9mm pistol. Not sure what I want as it will be my first.

Does it only exempt you from the state tax or state and local tax? My buddy in BR was saying that hunting purchases are exempt from both state and local tax.

Probably a P226, since I let Broke get the one at Bowie last week.

He's really grateful for that too, he texted me gloating about it.

There was no way I was getting to BR before Friday - and probably Saturday would have been the day. So, he got it fair or square - but Carson and I pretended that I let him have it.

And, I wasn't fighting anybody for it - the 0% 12-month financing was what got my ears perked up. I'm just going to finance this one myself. Our Academy has them at $799 (which is consistent with what Broke said), and my local stores sell them in the mid $800s - for a plain P226 - which is just my speed. I'm cool with the stock trigger and stock finish.

I've fought it long enough - I tried to go Glock (primarily for cost) - and they fell flat. I got the polymer Sig SP2022 - I like but I don't love it.

So, now, I'm coming all the way back around to a P226.

Did someone say tax free ?!?!?!?

I'm doing nods this year.

And I might need another Glock.

Better triggers, better ergos

M&P with apex trigger will beat both though. Vp9 with HKParts match spring set may beat the apex. I'll know soon

G17 is too big. Go 19 if you want a glock. Ideal handgun size IMO

So are kayaks included in this or what? It says in the link that vessels such as airboats/pirogues are included. Kayaks are viable duck hunting platforms

From what I understand it would have to be a hunting style yak. Maybe buy some burlap with it and tell them it's for hunting
