Personally, having gun safety beat into my head so much keeps me from getting a CCL. I still can't convince myself to carry around a loaded pistol in my pants.

A national sports telecast is not the place for promoting personal political views. I wanted to reach into the TV and bitch slap that idiot.
if he would have defended our right to own guns, would you still be outraged?

Better to have a magazine full and none in the chamber than no gun at all.

I'd email them and seek a promotion for him

Not sure what you mean by this... It wasnt accidental so Im confused why it would help here. I agree all kids need it, but why do you think this would have helped here?
I understand it wasn't accidental. The dare program tries to scare the shite out of kids saying drugs can kill you. There is nothing in these thugs' lives to say you don't Frickin shoot people because they stepped on your shoes. Thugs are raised from a very young age to accept that you carry guns, and shoot people when there is an altercation. Maybe gun safety wasnt the right term, but more of a class showing what the hell happens when you don't know when it is acceptable using deadly force with a gun.

Just common sense bro, and there is only a handful of us left with any of that. It's a sad day, the fate of the world rests on our shoulders

Common sense is pretty far from common

Between Goodell, what seems like three fricking months of pink, personal fouls for everything and all the liberal shite in between, I've pretty much stopped watching the NFL.

The reason I can't watch it anymore. I watch football games to watch the defense, and you can't play defense anymore.

Would it be a racist comment to say well maybe we should ban guns from all the black people then? Not saying we should, just pondering if this is a racist opinion since Black Man wants to ban guns, well then we'll start with your own kind and go from there.

Easy. Don't carry Mexican style like Mr Burress (meaning, no holster covering the trigger).
Every holster on the market now (or a vast majority) cover the trigger in some form or another. My gun cannot go off unless the trigger is directly manipulated, as is the exact same case here with douchebag Bob blaming the gun and not the guy.
I was a bit nervous about CC at first but now it's commonplace and I'm comfortable with it. Still, I never ever ever ever ever forget my rules of gun safety. Just because I'm used to it doesn't mean I need to get complacent.

This is certainly true. But I only suggest this for new CC'ers. Once they get comfortable with it and realize the trigger won't pull itself, they see the practicality in having the gun ready to go. But, a gun is better than no gun, for sure.

Nope, it is not racist. I would imagine it go over pretty well.

Doesn't matter. Can't stand to have a loaded gun and not be able to see it.

It would not scare me. I just can't imagine why I would want to do it. A firearm just doesn't come up in my life other than what little hunting I still do.
