Anyone have an email to email these clowns at NBC? I think it's important they know that all viewers aren't ok with anti-gun drivel.

Article he was reading from

quote:

We’d prefer to avoid seriously reflecting upon the absurdity of the prevailing notion that the second amendment somehow enhances our liberty rather than threatens it.

That is the message I wish Chiefs players, professional athletes and all of us would focus on Sunday and moving forward. Handguns do not enhance our safety. They exacerbate our flaws, tempt us to escalate arguments, and bait us into embracing confrontation rather than avoiding it.

Costas quoted this entire section of Jason's Whitlock's article. Just railing against the 2nd amendment.
quote:

Our current gun culture simply ensures that more and more domestic disputes will end in the ultimate tragedy, and that more convenience-store confrontations over loud music coming from a car will leave more teenage boys bloodied and dead.

In the coming days, Belcher’s actions will be analyzed through the lens of concussions and head injuries. Who knows? Maybe brain damage triggered his violent overreaction to a fight with his girlfriend. What I believe is, if he didn’t possess/own a gun, he and Kasandra Perkins would both be alive today.

That is the message I wish Chiefs players, professional athletes and all of us would focus on Sunday and moving forward. Handguns do not enhance our safety. They exacerbate our flaws, tempt us to escalate arguments, and bait us into embracing confrontation rather than avoiding it.

bullshite

Handguns definitely enhance my safety when I have one with me.

The criminals are going to have them either way

The bleeding hearts base their philosophy on criminals obeying laws

They cannot wrap their heads around that

Bob costas was quoting Jason Whitlock (whoever that is) I think.

Bob said, "I want to comment on something I totally agree that Jason Whitlock wrote about today" and then he basically summed up the article

Chris Benoit is all I have to say to that comment Bob. When people have made the decision to hurt themselves or others there is no one/thing you can blame it on but that persons f'ed up head.

Taking advantage of this situation to go on your own little rant about your personal beliefs on national TV is the most chicken shite thing I have ever witnessed.

that's my piece.

I'd personally rather get shot to death than beat to death by a NFL linebacker.

Oh, it's the gun's fault. I didn't realize it had legs.

Blame more and more inanimate objects people.

God this shite makes my blood boil.

Lost all respect for him there. The fact that he thinks that making gun illegal will solve this problem is beyond stupid.
