I just can't imagine why I would want to do it.
It's not for everyone. It's a really big responsibility and some people just don't care to put that much on them.
Just be happy that sheepdogs are around you on a daily basis

It would not scare me. I just can't imagine why I would want to do it. A firearm just doesn't come up in my life other than what little hunting I still do.
I felt the same way until recently. I just feel that I have the ability to get the license and can lawfully carry, so now I have the responsibilty to do so as a parant, husband, citizen whatever. It prob sounds dumb, but I feel like since I am able to, I have a responsibility to be prepared. JMO

The biggest thing for me was in my class when a really old guy surprised us.
The instructor asked each one of us why we were there and this old man gave his answer...
"Well my best friend was beat to an inch of his life and is now a vegetable. I refuse to be a victim."
We were all thinking... WOW. And also watching videos on YouTube of why people carry. Parents who carry are especially passionate about it. They said they would not be able to sit there and watch their kid get beaten or taken without being able to do something about it.
Like I said before, different strokes for different folks. But having that little piece of steel and plastic on me makes me the nicest guy around and makes me simply unafraid. It's a nice feeling.

Exactly.
I have permanent nerve damage in my foot and physically cannot run and i am not near as sturdy on my feet as I was prior to my back surgery and would probably have a little trouble in a physical altercation. . I had a CHP prior to my injury but didn't carry as much but still always had one nearby. I carry more now because I refuse to b a victim.

Maybe if Pioli would have been carrying, he could have shot Belcher in the arm and saved his life... or at least he got the death chamber.

Saw two small ones caght on spinnerbaits on the roadbed in the primitive area. At least I think it's a roadbed. Not a sing The White Perch bite.
Dang, thought it would be a good day. My cousin said they had an underwater camera and the fish were stacked up deep. It was the first time he had seen one and said its crazy how many fish are there and wont bite.

The problem with emailing NBC and complaining is that his rant is the company's view also. I can't watch the youtube video, but the replay is about to start so I'll get to hear it in a little while.

I actually bought my first Glock today at lunch. I have decided to name it "Bob."

"Bob" is the nickname of many marital aids, as it is the acronym for "Battery Operated Boyfriend". I would name the gun "Steve".
