ruger mini-14 now available in 300BLK

there are many fans of the mini, i am one of them. i have a mini14 (5.56) and a mini30 (7.62x39). they are hog and varmint killing machines, plus are fun to shoot and nearly unbreakable
now available in 300BLK with a threaded barrel for suppressor

Will it cycle subsonic ammo as well as supersonic?

Sounds like it may not cycle subsonic unless a suppressor is in place.

street price on the other minis is 800 or so...I would imagine it would be same/similar

ruger taps the receiver now and includes a small rail for scope mounting over the receiver
on mine i installed an ultimak mount in the scout position and put a long eye relief scope with quick detach rings. Most of the time I shoot just the irons though

Yea it looks like you need a suppressor to cycle subsonics. could just be poor wording.

I like this setup. Would be a great hog killing machine. Too bad I don't hunt anywhere with hogs or I'd have an excuse to buy it

Or you could buy one and then you would have an excuse to find a place to shoot some pigs.
