Central BR Walmart.? I went by there Sunday and the gun case was empty.

For those asking about Metairie stores...i dont know...but I stopped at the Boutte store just now and they have pretty much everything available talked about in this thread except the Ruger .308. None of them are marked so nobody is noticing. I saw: 2 savage 22 mag, 1 17 wsm, 1 ruger 243, 1 ruger 30-06, 1 marlin 45-70, 1 mossberg 12 guage and the girl working the counter said they have alot of inventory in the back. Didnt say what models.

So is it ALL of there guns on sale? I thought it was just the ruger savage and Marline but im seeing mention of some others here and there now.

ive been calling walmarts all over shreveport, seems like it's ALL guns are on sale, some much lower than others.
2 have told me the gun cabinet is cleaned out, but they MAY have some in the back. I would have to come up there to find out.

Yeah the Central BR walmart, they had them there at 7:30 last night, they were probably just being lazy and didnt feel like putting them out sunday, Ive noticed it empty one day then stocked the next so it just depends on the day. It was the HMR.

Lady told me that they clear out old stock in preparation for hunting season. It would jive with another poster saying he found some talk of this from last august when looking online. No idea if true tho.

FWIW, Walmart in Metairie, Kenner, and Harahan do not sell guns. So here I sit finishing my work day gun-less and depressed. Maybe I can make it to Boutte after work if my fellow OBers don't wipe them out before I get there.

No not all. They had a savage wsm with a heavy barrel that was still full price. Its is apparently only select models.

I can swing by the Central one on the way to church this afternoon and give yall a heads up with whats in the gun case. It seems to be pretty hit or miss if they have the guns out or not.

Not sure how it is at others but the one I am in currently has several on display but many more in the gun storage room. The rep showed me her screen of the entire inventory.
