Ok thanks. I got my local store to scan one on the savage 17 wsm Sunday and it came back cheaper than the sticker price but not the 154 like I've been seeing here. Thinking about going back and getting it scanned again

I got my 30-06 at 6:30 AM. Well started the process. Didn't get out till almost 8:00 because they couldn't find the box, then it took forever for the manager to come sign off on the gun sale at the end.

Yeah the 45-70 was 299. I know they had one at the Houma location on the eastside of town but their computer they use to sell firearms was down. I checked every other store in the area before I found it in Galliano.

I know the gun cages at my Walmart are on a timer so they can't open them without setting off an ear splitting alarm throughout the whole store with police showing up just a few minutes after. I know this because when I got my 17hmr from my local Walmart the power had gone out a couple of hours before that and it threw the timer off so when the guy opened the gun cage the alarm went off.

The lady at Ambassador told me 8am-4pm is when they can sell guns.
