This is a great deal. I bought one a couple weeks ago. Try using ..XMAS... in the code for 10 % off. If that doesn't work they may give you a code for 5% off.

And for another 1000 you can get a swaro. At some point the line has to be drawn. With that said I think the extra 100 saved and spent on the meopro would be well worth it and far more appreciated.

Just trying to give the op info that perhaps he was unaware of. He can & most likely will, do his own due diligence & buy whatever he wants that suits his need & budget.

Meopta failed me on a hunt this season. Filled with moisture on the inside.
I will never use meopta again.

Vortex diamondback

My brother put one of these on a 243 for his Ole lady this Christmas. It's probably the clearest cheap scope I've ever looked in.

Burris Fullfield

It's every bit as good as my Zeiss at less than half the price.

That's the first time I have ever seen someone have an issue with a meopta. I'm not saying they don't have issues but I've never seen one posted one hunting sites I visit. I see it all the time on Vortex but that could because they may have sold a lot more scopes. I would send it back explaining what happend and give them another shot. Who knows they may send you a brand new scope and maybe upgrade it.

I'll second that opinion. I believe Carson has said that the number they hear complaints about on Meopta is almost nonexistent.

Maybe they'll send you a new in box upgraded scope and you can sell it for a replacement.

I have a Vortex Diamonondback 3X9X40 that I really like, it was around $200 after taxes. IMO it is a better scope than the Nikon Prostaff 3X9x50 on my sons rifle.
