Now that I have one, I don't see myself being without a car again. It sure is nice to not be bouncing around in a giant arse truck and parking 4 miles away because that's the only place you can fit.

As a bonus, my truck stays on hot standby to go to the camp at all times.

My truck is paid off, I am looking for something smaller that get's good gas mileage for a run around in truck. I think I am gonna wait on the Chevy Colorado with the 4cyl diesel.

Wont be in a new TC less you find a '11 that was hermetically sealed at purchase...no new TCs since then because FoMoCo killed the Panther platform...

So after a week of mixed highway and city driving of about 700 miles I am averaging 15.5 mpg which is exactly 1 mpg more than my old 5.0

Agree.

I've never cared what somebody else drives; I make fun of all 'em.

Where did you get it done? I'm at Robinson Bros right now and they told me it would void the warranty.

Dealer installed from Bolton ford they give you a certificate said they do not void a warranty.

Bolton Ford lake Charles does the install for it all. Download of program and install of the intake.

Looking at around 600-700

Edit mine was not done (I have a triton). My buddy is doing his he bought last year.

Thanks, I'll have to try back when the service manager is there. I'm sure the person I talked to doesn't know what they were talking about.

Ok, I called Roush today. They said that it DOES void the Ford factory powertrain warranty but Roush picks it up for 3yr/36000 miles from date of install. I'm not to sure about that so I'm gonna wait until my warranty is up and then get it

I just curious but where are y'all going with that many miles? Not just in one vehicle but multiple?
