I like a little deeper and more vertical hole. Also looks like the trap may be a bit close. With cats visual appeal is everything. Take a wing feather and suspend it over the trap with some fishing line, maybe a couple of feet.

Your set looks good to me, but the last one I caught I had to use a live chicken. I use a two by three cage with food and water in it. Then I bury three foot traps around it with one being under the cage in a hole I make. I put this set up inside of hog paneling so my dog does not get it. Might take up to two weeks, but they can't resist some tasty bird.

After a couple months of trying to trap him, saw him from the stand this eve. Big bastard....probably from eating several of my damn turkeys.

next time you have a bobcat problem, try hanging a red Christmas tree ball ornament from a low hanging branch then set a few legholds under it. you will catch him by the back leg.

I am gonna bring my kids' cat's red laser pointer in the stand with me and make a bobcat chase it all over the place.

I'll shoot your eye out from 75 yds with that there Henry! Not a youth model, just a big cat! Guy said it's gonna need an almost 32" form. Xenon, my apologies. He's already been dropped of at the local taxidermist
