The CENLA dealers suck donkeys, so I figured I'd have to go to Houston.

I saw that you edited. I was going to say that High Country's dont have the Z71 package.

Thats a clean truck. I also dont think the price is too bad either. Make an offer and let them sweat.

Their GMC dealership is offering 12,500 off Crew Cab SLTs right now. I would have to get that much off to buy at this point.

My dad's looking to buy a new Chevy or Gmc 1500 like that one. I advised him to get a Ford. My 09 silverado Ltz with 120k miles is falling apart. Interior door handles are chipping, ac controls peeling, power seat won't go up or down, pockets on the back of front seats are coming off, transmission is going out, and it's under powered. I've always been a GM guy, but I'm done with them after this truck.

My brother bought a 2015 Chevy Z71 LTZ crew cab for $39,000 last weekend. $51,500 sticker. Seemed like a decent deal compared to used trucks.

my lariat with 37,000 miles had electrical demons galore and transmission problems. the only positive thing I can say about it was that the back seat was yuuuuge

My dad has '14, with 47k on it. He had the engine light come on due to some fuel vent solenoid. He was accused of driving through dust and water. It's an f'ing truck!! Are you not supposed to drive down a dirt road, or through a mud puddle? He was also told by 2 or 3 at the dealership that it is a pretty common problem. They wanted $750 to replace it. He got it done for $500.
He will probably be trading it in on a new Ridgline soon.
