I ordered a hand guard from them and it sat at "awaiting fulfillment" status for a week. I finally emailed to ask what the delay was and the rep told me he would get back to me on the order shortly. Well, 2 days later he emailed back and said it was out of stock.
I told him I wanted a refund and he said it would take 2-3 business days to credit back to my account. Again, one week later, the money was not credited back. Finally, after threatening to get the bank involved, they credited my account after another 2 days. They have no clue what inventory they have and their customer service is shite. Steer clear.

I guess the biggest thing for me would be how much trouble would it be for me to match a lower to the color of the second one. Also I don't see a BCG through that ejection port, make sure it is or isn't included.

i would honestly probably cerakote it back to black, or commission Tiddles to do some kind of gray kryptek
matching is the only real issue, but it's pretty nice that the OD already has a SilencerCo brake on it for my Saker.
Just got the Price for the OD green. 1100. The Black is 1250 or 1450 with the noveske-stamped BUIS
Oh, and OD upper is 10.5 vs 8.5 on the black

If you don't mind the 10.5" barrel Id go that one all day, the brake and CH alone save you another couple hundo.

i can get a Mod4 for $35 and sell the KX5 and KMR once my Saker gets out of prison, then get a SiCo Trifecta for whatever its cost is.

Forgive for asking but why would you spend 1200 on a short barrel? Aren't those types used for close range? What marginal gains are you getting over a much cheaper upper? If you shoot long range with it, then I could see paying that much for an upper with a longer barrel.
Then again, don't mind me. I only really shoot long range. I haven't set up any dynamic cqb courses

I can hit steel at 300yds with an Aimpoint Micro all day using an 8" barrel. I won't be using it for anything more than that. This is something that I want to throw a can on and keep the weight down. Gonna be used for carbine classes and smokin hogs. Won't need anything further than 300.
I don't mind paying a premium because Noveske has and always will be my favorite brand. Not counting guys like Nemo and JP Enterprise, I think they are tops, along with larue (who ripped off john noveske's barrels).

I have a hard enough time shooting at 100yds with a red dot much less 300 yds. At 100, the red dot is larger than the damn steel target

You have too much flare on the reticle. Something like a EOTech or Aimpoint will have a 1 - 2 MOA dot with the right setting.
