Got a buddy who needs a neoprene sleeve that goes around his shotgun handle because he shoots a doodoo Benelli. You can see it in the pic right behind the trigger guard where your dominate hand grabs the gun. Does any one use these and if so what are they called.

I've turkey hunted and shot trap for years, and I've never seen anything like that, nor do I see what purpose it would serve

It's so that a city boy doesn't get calluses on his pretty hands.

Some of the early run SBE II (mine included) have an area where the stock and receiver meet that has a somewhat sharp edge that cuts your hand when shooting. I wear a glove to avoid the problem but it's a big PIA, I have tried a beer huggie cut to fit like his before also.

The Vinci has the same issue. I couldn't grip the gun with my middle finger snugged up against the back of the trigger guard without it hurting. I adjusted my grip and don't even think about it now. Love my Vinci!

Mine does that shooting 3.5" shells. Like a tiny hammer hitting it all season long. I just tape my finger up.

The paint on mine is rubbing off in that area. Maybe it protects that...
