Need to get window tint glue off

Long story short, I had to run my work truck across the state line and get it inspected in Texas. Failed for tint (it was 15 and the limit is 25). I had to take the tint off to get the inspection taken care of.
I need to get the old glue residue off. Is there something specific or do I just need to use hot water and a razor knife?

I tried to slip that hand a 20 to let me go on about my business and then that bastard turned around and charged me 10 to take the tint off

I used the steam from a iron to soften it up, them my tint peeled right off with the glue. The glue will still loosen up with the steam and then you can scrap with a razor blade.

Steam is the only way to go.

This is what all the tint shops in town use. They buy it in 5 gallon cans. Squirt it on, then scrape it off with a plastic scraper or bondo spreader. You can purchase it from an auto paint store.

Get them retinted and pay the tint guy the extra $20 bucks to scrape it off.

I would imagine this to be your best bet...

Go buy some goof off, worked like a charm.

Rubbing alcohol would also work.

Razor and windex/other soap/lube bro, done it myself.

Wet it and then a razor will take it right off.

Steam gun, if not hair dryer and spray glass cleaner and scrub it.
If no heat, then you can use goof-off and that works well.

Hit it with a hammer and you won't have any more problems with tint glue
Naw, it's just like any other sticker. Razor scraper, then goof off, then razor scraper to consolidate it and pick it off, then windex to clean
