Mix a little gas with a lot of old oil.

Works wonders.

Try to start your fire at the bottom...not the top.

That easy step is the mistake people make most.

Once you get a little part going use a blower to feed it. It will get really hot standing there holding that blower, so use proper safety procedures and drink plenty of beer to stay hydrated.

I recommend a steel pipe and insert the blower tip in that. It's a bit safer.

LINK this thread is a classic
My small contribution - I put tires in the middle to cook off the pile once its lit. Depends on the size of the pile and how wet it is but to light it I use 2+ gallons of diesel, a gallon of gas to get diesel going and a Molotov cocktail to start it at a safe distance – the “WOOF” sound when it starts is amazing

This and add 25% gas to get the oil to burn. Also add a shite load of diesel before hand.

Now if you happen to have a few old tires laying around, lets just say they burn real good and hot. If this pile of trash is in the boon docks, tires are a way to go. Just don't get caught.

Oh. the gas/ oil will go boom, but not as bad a just gas.

I have 4 big arse piles that need to be burnt. Problem is the trees are green and I should of done them yesterday with all the hard winds that were blowing. Next front with hard winds is going to be fire day.

Diesel man. Please dont ever use gas. Vapors spread around you and then you burn.
