Meaux's guns and Bowie burglars caught

BATON ROUGE - Police say they have arrested three men believed to be behind the burglary of more than 50 guns from a Baton Rouge firearms retailer.
Investigators said 19-year-old Charles Evans, 23-year-old Geno Lyons and 19-year-old Oneal Thompson were taken into custody last night and charged with simple burglary and theft of a firearm.
The three men are accused of the burglary of Meaux Guns and Ammo on Mammoth Avenue that happened on July 6, according to Baton Rouge Police.
Detectives believe the arrested suspects are responsible for similar burglaries at Bowie Outfitters and an attempted burglary of Hebert's Guns in Gonzales on June 17.

my buddy was the arresting officer. he told me they were on to them a week ago. I'm glad they caught em. he works in burglary so I hear all kinds of good stories.

I'm not sure, I'll ask him when I see him..soon as meauxs was hit after bowie I'm sure they were on them....they aren't smart as he says. I'm sure they left evidence and such but I'll ask him how they found em. Also people snitch like crazy in br.
