Gun stores are pulling them off of the shelves, and it appears to be a legal action. How many states do you think will follow? LINK

And note: the AG does have the authority to make this determination; it was litigated by the pro-gun group GOAL some 12 ago.
This makes no sense.

None in the south or Midwest that's for sure.

Seems the liberal states are moving one direction and conservative states are moving the other way...

If MA is gonna ban anything they should ban pressure cookers instead of "assault weapons".

He better ban cars and liquor if his job is to keep people safe.

Drugs as well.

If I were a manufacturer, I would be leaving that state quickly.

Im guessing Ruger Mini-14's are about to start selling like hot cakes, but only the wood stock ones. The black polymer ones are too dangerous...

Oh, and "Land of the Free..."

MA residents are too worried about exploiting their white privilege to do anything about it.

A few things.

Did she do this unilaterally?

Is S&W going to leave MA?

They just made the value of every "pre-ban" rifle in MA skyrocket.

The AG is just reinterpreting an existing law. She'll being setting up MA to cut the NRA and SAF a nice check in the near future.

this should be and always has been a state rights issue in my opinion. if MA or any other state wants to restrict gun sales that is their prerogative as long is it is constitutional which is for the courts to decide.

more state control and less federal control over anything is the right direction

If a gun’s operating system is essentially the same as that of a banned weapon, or if the gun has components that are interchangeable with those of a banned weapon, it’s a “copy” or “duplicate,” and it is illegal. Assault weapons prohibited under our laws cannot be altered in any way to make their sale or possession legal in Massachusetts.

You silly, silly fricks.
