We differ on this obviously.
Because you refuse to accept established law. This is not an issue upon which reasonable minds can differ. You are wrong. The end.
quote:

Most reasonable people with no dog in the fight would agree what was done in 1992 and then in the 1995 Tidewater case goes against how the other 49 states handle it.
49 states do not have coastal marsh, and besides, how another state handles private property and waterways is irrelevant. I have no dog in the hunt. I just get irritated by those of you who throw around legal terms with such a misunderstanding of the issues.

There are plenty that do and the premise is the same.
I'm not claiming what you are saying is law or not, I and you know whats written. The issue is the law is flawed like a many others are. Say "The End" imply that things can never change.

I'm done for the day now, me, wife and young kids are going do some trespassing.

Have coastal marsh....some not much but they have it...

However flawed the law may be....parishes aint gonna give up property taxes so we can fish

None of those states have to deal with the issues that we do due to the sheer amount of coastal Marsh that we have

How would you even define navigable today? With surface drives I can run from Venice to Sabine River and aside from Houma Nav, Barataria, Atch river and a couple others rarely get in water over 2' deep.

49 states do not have coastal marshes is accurate. Way less do.

Why do people want to go where the aren't supposed to, I hate to think that if flood waters enter my home and will float a boat, then by the opinions of some on here, it is now a public structure

No one said it was in that context. But 49 states don't have marshes. Like 12 do, I don't know what is being missed I don't care what Iowa does in this regard

Huh? Ok 49 states experience the same issue and deal with it differently. You have me convinced.
