Sister in Law has one like this. It's 67 lbs and loves to swim and retrieve.

Mine weighs 98 lbs. Obeys hand signals, retrieves like a champ and is whistle trained. He is very lean though. I wonder if the cold water would bother him. If I wasn't such an idiot, I'd post a pic. He is first generation so he definitely doesn't look more like a poodle than a lab.

Know a guy that breeds these things. Gets 2500.00 per dog and new owner signs a contract saying they won't breed the dog or gets it fixed. Are you serious?

Only draw back to a dog that doesn't shed is that they have to be cut about four times a year. I just buy a new set of clippers every couple of years and do it myself

Pics are half a page up.

$2500

My dog was $1500 I think and we did have to sign a contract saying we wouldn't breed her. Unreal. Women.....

I think these are one of the most ridiculous dogs, second to the golden doodle. WTF, why people do this I will never know.

Both are better than any lapdog ever bred. Useless animals if you ask me.

But what do I know

Oh I'm sure there are some hunting lines. I doubt most labradoodles come from those lines though.

I have a labradoodle that is almost 2 years old and she has been a great dog. I would highly recommend one. Here are few snap shots when she was a puppy.

I had to do this with a white german shepherd I had. She cost $1200 but wasn't considered breeding stock due to 4 or 5 white toenails and a little pink on the nose. I had to send papers from the vet saying I had her spayed. I think this is pretty common.

Fwiw I would own a labradoodle. A neighbor of mine had a standard poodle that was a really intelligent and athletic dog.

I have this now.

American bulldog / mastiff. He's still a pup. Going to be a beast.

Love my dog also.
