re: Liberty Fat Boy Jr purchase - mallardhank
Had it delivered yesterday. So much larger and nicer than the safe I've had for over twenty years. It came with the pockets on the inside of the door for handguns. How did I live without this for so long. No more stacking guns on top of each other, can see what gun is in each slot all the way to...

re: Painting exterior of house- one or two coats? - mallardhank
I've never seen Behr or Clark used on any retail, commercial or residential project, so if they are that good as claimed then why not. Sherwin and BM are all I've seen On exteriors use high gloss ...

re: Sporting clays? - mallardhank
That's good shooting for not having picked up a gun for ten years. Fund raisers usually throw easier targets and if anything it builds your confidence, is enjoyable, you don't have to be high overall to win a prize, and it should make you want to do it again. When I first started shooting sporti...

re: Sako L57 in .244 - mallardhank
Update Trying to get the .244 for 600. Three guns on consignment Told shop to ask owner what he'd take for all three. They're trying to reach owner now. I'd drop two grand for all three in a heartbeat. Two larger caliber are like new-.244 shows wear. Damn why did I go into that shop yesterday...

Sako L57 in .244 - mallardhank
Saw this very decent shape rifle in this rare caliber, made in 1958. Do any on the board have an idea what this gun is worth? The Sako collectors on line list this caliber as second most rare caliber. I'm learning more but need to make a quick move. This shop also had two other Sakos, in .338 ...

re: Why are the Toyota Tundra's sales numbers so terrible? - mallardhank
Didn't want to read thru 11 pages so forgive me if I'm repeating. I have a 2006 with 260grand on the dial. Absolutely love the tundra. It's the perfect size and very comfortable. However, the newer models are too big, get terrible mileage, and the dash and carpet are one standard black color unl...

Whoever said dump the balance beam scale and get a digital knows not of what he speaks. I have both. Used both. Get much more consistent results from my Ohaus M5. The one die that Lee makes that everyone should use is their factory taper crimp die - it will give you smaller groups once you've fo...
