Small enough to pocket carry?

The CM9 is small enough to pocket carry in most, but not all, pants. In particular, most jeans, and some khaki's, will be too small and need a pocket 380 (Kahr380, Kahr CD380, LCP, Kel-Tec P3AT, etc). I don't have a CM9, but I'm watching prices for one right now.

The Kahr will have the best sights and trigger out of all of those. And if I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure the bodyguard has an unnecessary thumb safety. I would keep it simple and get the Kahr if you insist on 380.

I wouldn't call the safety unnecessary, I would call it essential.
The OP is wanting a "pocket pistol" to carry. I put mine in my pocket and set the safety. Otherwise I would not have one chambered without a safety. Most C&C pistols don't have safety's because C&C holsters have a trigger guards. Unless you plan on having a pocket holster, I would go with the S&W if the Kahr does not have a safety.

If you are carrying a pistol in a pocket, but not in a pocket holster, frankly you're an idiot who is trying to shoot yourself in the leg or groin.

Sir I am not advocating anything. The question from the OP is not "what is the best way to pocket carry".I have no idea how he is wanting to carry. I carry a 320 in a holster. When I carry my wife's 380 (which is rare) I throw it in my pocket.
When we shopped for my wifes 380 every place we went asked the same question to her. Are you going to carry in a holster when you pocket carry or purse carry. She said not planning on it. So she needed a safety. That's all i said. Now I have to go to work so find somebody on the rant to argue with.

Please do yourself (and anyone else here who might read your personal recommendation) a favor and do some additional research. You'll find that all authorities will basically say don't pocket carry a gun w/o using a holster. No need for me to go through all the reasons now as I hope you find out why on your own time. Hint....the reasons deal w/ safe handling of a gun.

I'm not arguing w/ you as obviously you meant well b/c you sought advice. Unfortunately, the quality of advice one gets at a gun store varies about as much as the advice one gets from the OB. Do your own research from self defense and cc "gurus" so you can better take care of you and your wife. If you find an expert who does NOT recommend a holster for pocket carry, let me know. And please, get a nice holster for both of y'all to carry that 380 in (especially for purse carry).

Here's a start for you.... Why use a holster for pocket carry.

ETA: And for cc I'd STILL recommend the Kahr over the Bodyguard every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I do plan on using a holster when I pocket carry. To me it's a necessity. On that subject, does anyone have any experience with the Uncle George's or Recluse One Sided? My plan is to mostly carry in the back pocket of my jeans at work and sometimes front pocket of other pants or athletic shorts. As of right now I'm leaning towards the recluse because of the design and being able to hold an extra mag.
