re: Everyday pocket knife - J.Peterman
Benchmade Mini-Grip 556-1 with G-10 scales and CPM-20CV steel. Expensive but the g-10 cuts down on the abrasiveness and the 20cv steel holds its edge very well. It quickly became my favorite edc. ...

re: Beach Honeymoon Suggestions - J.Peterman
Somewhere between $2,000-$4000. If we can fly southwest I should have enough points to cover the flights, allowing more to be spent on accommodations. ...

Beach Honeymoon Suggestions - J.Peterman
Trying to plan my honeymoon for the end of May. We want a beach setting and are leaning towards an adult only all-inclusive resort for the simplicity of it after a long week leading up to the wedding. Don’t want to spend a crazy amount, but also don't want to go cheap and regret it. Main objective...

re: CCW applications may be waiting awhile - J.Peterman
I filled out everything online and did my prints at LSP headquarters on February 4th. I recieved my permit in the mail about 3 weeks later. My brother, on the other hand, filled out everything online but mailed his prints in March 3rd and he hasn't even received his request for payment. ...

re: Income Tax Issue/Question - J.Peterman
My argument is that I mailed a check for the originally owed income tax. I thought it went through and I was in good standing. I filed the last two years and received state and federal refunds with no notice of any issue. I had changed my address so it's possible they were sending notices to my ...

re: Income Tax Issue/Question - J.Peterman
I cashed in CD's and investments so I had more income than usual. I owed taxes on that income... Sorry if that wasn't clear. ...

re: Income Tax Issue/Question - J.Peterman
Planning on digging in to that when I get home. As I'm sitting here thinking about it, I'm getting worried that maybe it didn't get mailed or got lost in the mail. If my bank statement doesn't show the withdrawal, I'm fine with paying the original amount. I'm more concerned with the additional fees ...

re: Income Tax Issue/Question - J.Peterman
100% sure I mailed the originally owed income tax. This is the 1st I'm hearing that they have no record of receiving the income taxes and that I now owe nearly $1,500 in fines on top of the original amount. ...

Income Tax Issue/Question - J.Peterman
Long, but trying to give all the info. Went to the DMV to get a new license today and they told me my license was suspended by the Dept. of Renevue. Call them to get everything straightened out and after 40 minutes on the phone they tell me I owe $3,150 to the state from back in 2013. I typicall...

re: .380 decision - J.Peterman
I love everything about my Kahr CW380, except for the fact that it wouldn't reliably cycle any ammo right out of the box. Had to send it back to Kahr and they replaced the recoil spring and smoothed out the slide stop under warranty. If I wasn't so happy with the trigger and overall feel I would hav...

re: Kahr CW380 vs. Lcp Custom vs. S&W Bodyguard .380 - J.Peterman
I do plan on using a holster when I pocket carry. To me it's a necessity. On that subject, does anyone have any experience with the Uncle George's or Recluse One Sided? My plan is to mostly carry in the back pocket of my jeans at work and sometimes front pocket of other pants or athletic shorts. A...

re: Kahr CW380 vs. Lcp Custom vs. S&W Bodyguard .380 - J.Peterman
I like it a lot. I've owned quite a few 9mm and despite this one's small size, I prefer it to most. I'm looking to upgrade to the new shield performance center soon, but they've been out of stock everywhere I've looked. ...

re: Kahr CW380 vs. Lcp Custom vs. S&W Bodyguard .380 - J.Peterman
I'm a fan of the sig238 as well but I have large hands and the ambi safety seems to press into my right hand. Worried it might not disengage completely in a moment of need. It also felt like it was a little harder to draw from my pocket compared to the others....

If the g42 fit how I wanted to carry, it would be the answer. I loved the way it felt at the range and I was very accurate out to 20'...

re: Kahr CW380 vs. Lcp Custom vs. S&W Bodyguard .380 - J.Peterman
I've shot the g42 and do like it, it's just a little too long for my use. If I could make that size work I would probably step up to a 9mm....
