I'm covered with pigs right now but they'll work their way out of here before legal shooting light.

Or I'll kill a dozen in this heat and have to deal with them

Any time is legal. Should of shot. Gut shot, so they run off to die. That way to don't have to drag them off.

Will hunt till my Thermacell fuel runs out...forgot to grab a new cartridge this am and I'm running low. I think the blood suckers sense it and are staging on my perimeter waiting for the chance to attack!

Hot and skeeters. Everything is soaked from humidity - gun and stand are covered in condensation
Climber overlooking and old ditch. Too thick for rifle. Should have brought 12ga l. Club was supposed to run dogs on opposite side of lease. Now I'm being told they showed up on my side. The game has changed today if they let the dogs go here.

Man this warm weather sucks. Everyone I've talked to that usually has plots loaded with 15-20 deer have only been seeing one or two.

Bad enough my plots got flooded after planting but now they are struggling to compete with native grasses still growing. I should have set up more stands around feed trees. Lesson learned for next year

Beauregard Parish Area 8
70 degrees 90% humidity
15ft. Ladder stand in a swamp
Duel thermocells going

Kicked a moccasins and a copperhead out the trail on the way in this morning.

Deer are moving well had 2 Doe and a small buck (spike or 3 pt) feed thru...waiting on 8 or better 15" wide or a mature cull

Also have had several small flocks of woodies 2 to 5 per group moving around this morning.

Tangipahoa parish with the ole 30-30 I'm sitting in a box stand overlooking a foodplot and corn feeder.
Had to open all the windows because it got so damn hot in here. The mosquitos are starting to send out the fresh meat signal to all of their friends!
