Just wondering how much do you guys shoot a year you think? Had a little "discussion" with the misses and my spending on shells came into light.

Not as much as I'd like too. Plenty of time and money for it, just weather sucks from now till April and indoor ranges around here are packed and allow rifles and pistols on the same lanes.

Between ducks, doves, sporting clays and general tomfoolery a couple thousand maybe more.

I don't shoot that often; maybe once a month. When I do, I go through a lot of rounds though

5,000-10,000 rounds per year including all sporting clays and hunting.

Although 2016 will prolly be more like 3,000.

^This. I'm hoping this year to find some private land to shoot some skeet on. I would be down to invest some decent coin on a good machine too, but right now I don't have anywhere to go with regularity.

Well then maybe she had a point. I shot a little south of 20k shells last year if you count all clays.

A buncha .22 plinking and goofing off probably 5 bricks or more a year. 12ga a bunch too for ducks, skeet, squirrel, crows and just shooting random stuff. Few cases no doubt. Probably not much big bore rifle...less than a 200 rds a year probably. AR for a little practice 100 or so rds. A year to stay in shape

I finished my last year at 11550 rounds of 9mm.

1100 and change on .22

250 12 gauge

1250 and change on .45

Unknown.223, 7.62, .308, .50, and .416

Those are the quantities I purchased and no longer have.

13k rounds or so.

I usually shoot a bit more.

I've shot 650 rounds of .22 and 300 rounds of 9mm so far this year.

I am assuming you must do something to shoot that many, or do you just go to the range that much?

Between duck season and skeet shooting, probably 3 or 4 cases of shells.

In 2015, I shot probably once a month up until my kids were born in July. After birth, zero times till Dec. 26th. I remember that day because I was by myself in the corn field with my guns and my tunes just shooting in peace.

A bunch but not as much as some have posted.

I go to the range 2-3 times a month and typically shoot 200-300 rounds when I go.

Let it go. You fricks get hot and bothered if someone doesn't share the exact same point of view. If you have something you want to say then say it in that thread don't come pollute this one with your bullshite.

Not that much. I don't find shooting just to shoot particularly enjoyable.

I shot probably less than 200 times last year. And most of that was hunting. I went to the range twice, once to sight in a rifle and once to let my kid practice.
