Just moved to Nola for law school and am checking out the map around here. Looks like there has got to be some kind of small marsh duck lease to be had in the general area? Or am I wrong. I'm very happy with my setup down in Dularge and will never leave there but it wouldn't hurt to have another option close to the house that I could sneak away to before or after class a few days out of the year. It would give me an excuse to bring the boat to Nola. Maybe it's impossible to get into, who knows. Anyone on here know if it's even a possibility?

Finding a small duck lease near NOLA will prove very difficult. I would concentrate on the nearby public hunting options.

Biloxi marsh (public) usually has ducks
you'll need a decent boat to get across the lake though

get a boat and hunt public there are thousands of acres under 45 minutes from New Orleans that are hunt able.

If you do want a lease Delacroix land would be a good contact, but it's getting awfully late for people to have anything worth leasing still available.

Brah. you need to study. Then get with me and we can put feelers out. The problem is that by the time you find a good blind, you will have graduated.

I figured it wouldn't be too easy to come by. Dularge isn't too far away from Nola anyway it wouldn't really make sense to get a lease thats equal distance away. Might have to try Biloxi Marsh one morning. Ive heard some good things about it, but we'll see

If you have time to duck hunt your first semester of law school then you're doing it wrong. Exams will be staring you straight in the face once the season opens.

my buddy's dad owns about 10,000 acres in Paradis. Roughly 30 min from you. They have blinds they lease among other things. I don't know if they have any available this year but they go for 5K ea / season. if interested i can get your info and check.
