I had the same issue except gf left some fruity drink in it after tailgating. Didn't notice it was in the for a couple weeks. Cleaned like hell with everything imaginable and smell would always come back. I left it outside open for a month or so and its all good now. Just needed to be scrubbed and then air out for a while

I usually pressure wash it with the engine cleaner at the car wash and then let sit outside open for a day or two.

Put 5 or 6 lumps of charcoal in it and let it sit for a few days.

Pee in it and keep it at least a week, the ammonia gets rid of the smell.

A buddy left the live (now dead) shrimp in his Yeti and it sat in the boat for 2 months. The smell was unreal. He try all kinds of stuff, only thing that work was OdoBan from home depot is about 10 buck a gallon.

Don't know if anyone mentioned it yet, but wipe it down with vanilla extract and let it sit for a bit with the lid open. Wash it out and it should get the smell out.

I have had great results with vinegar in a freezer that had some geese and we lost power for a couple weeks.
