The smell was really bad and I can't get rid of it. So far I have tried...

Filled with gallon of bleach, soap, and water and closed it for a week.

Gallon of vinegar for 2 weeks

Extra large box of baking soda sealed in for a week.

Nothing has worked and was wondering if anyone has suggestions. Only other option is to leave it open and let it sit for about a year.

I'd try the bleach again and put it in the sun with lid open?

Was your Yeti too cold causing the bottles of beer to freeze and break?

I've had that same smell from mold growing in mine due to leaving beer residue as well. I cleaned it with soap and water, then poured some bleach and water and let it sit for two days closed. Dumped and rinsed it out afterwards and it was clean as new.

Must have been a defective one for not holding ice for a month and a half. Perhaps the Salt Life stickers and Browning logos weighed down the cover preventing a tight seal.

Yeti people.

If that happens in my igloo, I demote it to fish box and buy a new one for food and drinks.

You need to pre-cool it before you clean it

Clean it with tomato juice.

Actually, don't bother. It's ruined beyond cleaning. I'll be happy to pick it up from you and dispose of it.

Coffee grounds, unused.

About 8-10 ozs. Close it, sit in the sun for a few days.

I don't get how you guys can buy something so expensive, and then not treat it well.

Did your father's not teach you anything?

Shame on all of you.
