This sounds like a "hold my beer and watch this shite" plan.

Well, if I had another one that needed to be burnt out and if I had someone to shoot the video, I would. Ain't had to burn one out in about 10 years now. Ain't nothin to it if it's in a place where it won't set square bales or something else on fire as it falls apart and hits the ground. The nest will catch on fire real easy since it's essentially paper anyway. Just hold the flame to the bottom of the nest. It'll catch on fire easy and burn slowly. This nest ain't gonna blow up like a can of gas or giant firecracker.

Throw a cup of gas on them and knock the nest down. Feed it to the channel cats in your estuary

I can testify from first-hand/face/ear hole/nose hole/neck experience that 3 shots from <10ft with 12 ga #8 dove load from a modified choke will not kill as many as you think. In fact, I'm not sure I killed more than a handful. The hornets, however, are very efficient.

I've done that, too. Had a nest of hornets under the front deck once, about 24 inches of space between the porch and the ground. Couldn't burn them out where it was at, so I just waited till after dark and poured gas on the nest from in between the cracks of the decking boards. Killed all of em.

When you are young and stupid, you know for a fact you can cut a deer's head damn near off from close range with bird shot. You think it will surely destroy a hornets nest and all within.

I had a guy call me today and ask me how I would remove one from 185' up on of our towers. I told him to wait until it dropped below freezing this winter. Hornets are mean little bastards with huge chips on their shoulders when you jack with their nests.

Cab and air tractor+hay Speer

Laugh as they fail miserably at killing you while you drive back and forth over the nest.

Park your truck close. Spray and entire can of raid on it. Run to truck and wait out the storm. When the ones who didn't die chill out get can 2 and spray the whole can on the nest. Repeat as necessary

Old expired extinguisher will work to kill wasps. It will freeze the nest.

I use a liquid fertilizer/ weed feed hose attacent. Load it with dawn. Hook it up to the hose. Spray from a safe
Distance. I took out a wasp nest last year about that big. Stopped counting the dead bodies at 75.

miss kitty, funny that you would mention that. I was lookin' around to survey the sichyashun to be able to fight a "when nature calls" moment when I spotted nascars little ball of critters. If in fact, I had a "when nature calls" sichyashun, I can only imagine the hundreds of hornets "flying up my dress" and stingin' my ole geauxt arse.

Drive your truck, use your 12 gauge.

Very important, roll down your window just low enough to stick the barrel out.

Blast away.

Oh yeah, roll your window up toot suite.

If you don't, you will be stung.

Are they bald face hornets? Those bastards are the devils own.
