Any reccomendations here? Just splurged on a second yak and I'll need another paddle. Have a few more accessories I'm looking at so I don't want to break the bank any more than I have to. TIA

I have no problem with the $25 black No Limits paddle from Academy.

Check out the Bending Branches Angler series. They have one or two models for $99.

This.
I tried the one from Academy that looked like a redfish, but brought it back because it was too short. Size matters.

I bought the Werner Skagit Hooked Fiberglass one from Austin Kayak. $129 regular price and got 15% off and free shipping. ($110.00 to my door) (You should be able to do the same) It's light and very strong....wish I would have bought that when I first started.

That is a sweet paddle. One of The Last Coco's buddies that we fished/hunted with got one last year. VERY light.

The Carlisles at Acad are a best buy IMHO.

I too bought a Werner paddle from Austin Kayak. I was worried that I was spending too much at $130 at first, but once I used it, I knew it was worth every penny. I got the 260cm and it is very light and easy to paddle with. It even works well when I stand on the seat on my KC to paddle while sight fishing, I don't have to squat to reach the water.

Whatever you do, don't get the camo paddle at academy with the decoy line hooks on the paddle. Sure it's useful for grabbing dekes, but they cause waaaay more trouble than they're worth by accidentally snagging every stick and slimy weed in the swamp (or marsh).

I've got a Carlisle Predator in my Amazon wish list buts it's $109
I'm getting the yak from Austin Kayak but didn't add any accessories at 15% off...that's how the man gets you

A little over your budget, but I use the Cannon Wave Slider. You can adjust the length which is good for kayaks with adjustable high/low seating.

I love it. Great paddle.

The Carlisle on from Academy that has red blades and $79 is a good deal. It's super light too.
If you buy from Austin Kayaks just make your birthday in the near future when you register and they will give you 20% off coupon for your birthday.

I have this for my second "backup" kayak. It gets the job done.

Buy a Hobie, comes with a free paddle...not that you'll ever need it.

I just bought a Bending Branches Classic Angler 260cm paddle and I am extremely impressed with it so far.
