Golf Cart Battery/Charging Delima

I am looking to get an electric golf cart. However, I will not have access to an outlet all the time as it will be parked outside where there is not one. I will have access to one, but would rather not have to park at a friends house every night.
My question is besides gas golf carts is there any other alternative/fix? Anyway I could charge the batteries inside then put them back in the cart? Any other ideas?
Additionally, I am buying one on craiglist. I have done some research, but what do you reccomend I check and make sure is ok. Batteries, lights, tires, anything else? Cart will not be driven very far daily and on paved roads.
Spark Notes: Need alternative way to charge batteries besides being plugged in outlet with golf cart. What should I ask/ look for when buying a used golf cart?

Assuming this is something similar to an E-Z Go or Club Car, charging the batteries in the cart is "the" way. I can't imagine taking the batteries out every time you want to charge them (many have 6 or 8 batteries).
You can't run an extension cord to an inside outlet ?? Or have another outlet installed ?? If not, you may want to re-think buying an electric cart.

You could buy a big arse solar panel to put on the roof.

You will have to plug in the cart, no way around it.
If you are buying one used make sure the batteries are good and hold a charge, it ain't cheap to replace them

Sadly for various reasons not really an option. Yeah I am thinking I should just switch to gas. Just worried about buying a used engine and it going to shite and a pain to repair. But looks like this may be the route. Ha if they sold solar panels I would do that. Thanks for the advice everyone.

If u cant charge it, dont buy. I would suggest against a gas powered cart too.
Batteries run about $600. There is a guy in Ball, LA that has some 2008 Precedent Club Cars and 2009 Yamaha's with 2012 Batteries for $2400. We bought 3 this summer and he gave them to us for $6k

batteries cost as much is getting a motor rebuilt for a golf cart.
new batteries will go about 15 miles on a charge.
on flat ground.
hard to find gas golf carts but if it runs good no smoke no knock= no problems
jell batteries will cost about a grand but can go to 50 miles on a charge
