Big arse mantis shrimp. Supposed to cook up pretty well. Those clubs he has can open a finger up or bash an aquarium.

Had one that hitchhiked into my tank in some live rock. Scary arse bastard, the first time you see it. I named him Apollo Creed.

I've had tiger shrimp and those frickers were delicious and huge.

I have had sea bobs (mantis shwimps) and not as tasty/sweet as brown or white shrimp but they are fine. They catch sea bobs in the fall as I recall I bet the “popcorn shrimp” at various places are sea bobs etc

We had a few smaller (regular shrimp size) mantis shrimp in our last boil. Kinda weird but they taste the same imo
