Was it where they used the phrase "let you hunt."

I turned to my wife then and told her don't ever say you "let" me hunt.

Her discovering that show was a great thing for me

I know what you mean. My wife and her mother watch. The show, even with the scripted acting, has helped them understand my thought process regarding many things outdoors.

Best thing gun makers did in the last 50 years was making Plastic stocks.

I don't have a problem with Mossbergs -- except for being headquartered in that Communist state of Connecticut.

I own two of their shotguns -- but bought them before CT's DB legislature passed their gun control legislation.

I guess it was too much to expect the Duck Commander boys to follow principle
over dinero.

At least Beretta had the balls to start planning their move out of New Jersey after that state passed their asinine gun control laws.

And I don't get the hate for Mossbergs. They are less expensive,

I don't either. And most are made in Texas I believe.

No offense to Phil, but if Daisy showed up with more money, he's sign with them.

I've only shot an old Mossberg a few time and wasn't that impressed, I have no issue with this. Mossberg is a good American Gun Manufacturer. I hate them being in CT but maybe one day they can leave.

Now if they would have signed with Norinco, I would have stopped watching.

The fact that they are switching brands should not suprise anyone. Back in the day, the old dc videos, Phil was all about Browning. Then they went Benelli, cept for Si. Mossberg must have offered a.ton of $$$. The move will also get the price of a semi-auto mossderg with dd on it to around $1500.
