We fished the little canal that cuts under Harrison. I could see fish on their beds, but they wouldn't touch a thing

Three more than us. Never even had a bite. It is not possible to get to the areas choupique spoke about. So by the time I walker out there with the little one, I just had to stick to a shitty small canal by Harrison. Will fish around the Forrest and Marconi next time

I've fished out there for a year straight pretty much, I've never seen the park as blocked off as it was today

It'll be better next weekend

Between the Wisner work and a marathon I would think you're gonna get blockage.
This is a small town to run a marathon without some seriously crazy routes. Just for a
analogy, if I'm not mistaken, from the Tchoups entrance to I10 W to the base of the Hale Boggs bridge is near 26 miles on I10/310. That's a long distance to layout in this town.

Believe me, I wasn't complaining about the blockages, I know it's the nature of the beast

Usually they do a good job of limiting the road blocks to just a certain part of the park, but today, given the length of the race they had to pretty much block everything from Robert E Lee all the way to Delgado

Mr Hangover, is this the culvert on Wisner? There is also a bunch of concrete underwater that doesn't show in the pic. This is on the bayou side of Wisner.

Tbh, I don't fish off of wisner too much so I couldn't tell you if that was the specific spot

Today I fished off of marconi and diagonal and saw a few beds but not too many just yet.. I think the full moon last night ruined the fishing this morning

My spot lately has been right next to Grow Dat, when you go under the 610, near the dog park. You can go right towards wisner and past the construction and it's nice too.

I also like going by the empty golf courses but that has been harder since they started construction.

Live worms, yellow/red worms, crank bait with bright colors.

I fished over there by grow dat today.. it's real pretty back there but I didn't see much action today

I love fishing the forest and yea, we've been consistently catching them on the crankbaits.. there was a ton of people out there today chasing that nine pounder
