Can/would you keep bass from there or is it catch and release?

Honestly, I'm not sure what the law is.. I've seen people take fish out of there. I personally don't take them because I'm out there almost every weekend but I don't knock people for keeping their fish

i was told by an old man out there that the golf course ponds have the biggest fish. you gotta fish them at daybreak before the course workers get there.
Of course.

How about spots I can bring my young son. Not quite ready for him to experience fishing illegal spots yet

back channel me....

anywhere near a culvert or where wind pushes water is a good starting point... the closed golf courses are good too...

i find if you are going to be fishing illegal spots that it is best to have your young kids with you.

i may take my 3 year old out there this weekend.

on the closed golf course I doubt anyone will tell you anything...

lsupride..

the lagoon that is intersected by diagonal drive near softball fields is good for a kid on either side....many many rio's there too which are a blast and very aggresive.

along wisner where the golf course is closest to the road north of i-10.. there is a culvert from bayou st. john to the lagoon - money.....

I've never used frogs out there. I have used plastic worms quite a bit. I did hear of guys using floating worms and did well. I've never tried that method.

Been looking on google maps for this,.. can't find the culvert you're talking about

Also, unless I just didn't know about it I fished at CP the weekend before and the day before the rodeo last year

Do you post on the fishing crew or fish brain app?

Ok I'm pretty sure I know where you're talking about now... it's blocked by the construction fence now right?

I'm interested in hearing your stories about winning the rodeo if you wanna share
