Chesapeake Bay retriever..5 years old..I can't give him what he deserves

This dog (male) lives to retrieve..he's picked up many a duck. But, my health has deteriorated to the point that I can't work him like I should and he deserves. He'll love you to death and he's got that Chessie grin!
I don't want any payment, the only thing that I want is that he gets a home that he can enjoy and a person that he will work his tail off for.
I lurk here all the time but rarely, if ever, post. This is important to me..you can reach me at mamouhousing@centurytel.net..or message me on here if this site has a message function.
I'll throw in a .22 dummy launcher and a couple of training dummies as well.

Damn man. Couldn't imagine giving up a pup. Hope someone here gets him and puts him to work that makes him happy.

old neighbor of mine had a Chessie named Tijon.
Honestly the hardest working dog i've ever seen. Just would not quit. Dove underwater in our pond for his dummy and all.
You shouldn't have any problems finding him a good home from someone on this site. Buncha good ole baws here.

I hate to hear that. I had a Chessie when I was younger. That dog would retrieve like a wild man and if he didn't know who you were, he'd eat your arse up. Great dogs.

Ok..in order to save time for everybody..my chessie is a male, he is not neutered, he is registered, I have not been home to take a photo but will get one asap...he's fine with kids but is not a run around play chase kind of dog..he's more of a lean on you type if you know what I mean..I'm in Mamou if someone wants to come by and take him out, please do so..my wife and I are not always home so please give us some advance notice via email.
